FSG's The Spot community centre works to combat youth unemployment in the Logan area. The Rock in Design programme was launched last June. Housed in a new shed at the rear of The Spot, the programme provides youth the opportunity to run a furniture business.

Under the guidance of project co-ordinator Trent Powrie, the teens design and build furniture to be sold to non profit organisations and the wider community.

The Rotary Club of Archerfield is thrilled to be a major supporter of this initiative.

FSG The Spot

We are very strong suporters of the Rotary Youth Exchange Programme, sponsoring local students travelling overseas, and hosting students from abroad.

Youth leadership programmes and defensive driving courses also demonstrate our commitment to youth.
