Once again on Australia Day our club facilitated a very successful Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony for 80 new Australians and their children from numerous overseas countries.

At 10.00am on Saturday 11/01/2020 George Deen the President of the Rotary Club of Archerfield arrived with another semitrailer tanker containing 24,000lt of potable water and was welcomed by Fran Hodgson the President of Stanthorpe Rotary and Past District Governor Jitendra Prasad.

As advertised this raffle was drawn today and the results were: -

• First Prize - Gary Drew  -  Ticket # 1145
• Second Prize - Selina Kadell  -  Ticket # 104
• Third Prize - Jim Noble  -  Ticket # 1252

Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all our supporters.   Proceeds of this raffle will go to the Rotary District 9630 Drought Appeal.

President Lester attended the Miss & Mr Rwanda Contest on Saturday night. It was a great event with hundreds of enthusiastic South Africans who were most impressed by the Mabutswapele. The Hon Cameron Dick MP addressed all present and gave our club and Rotary wonderful praise for the charitable work done by all members.

Our raffle was drawn on Thursday 1 March 2018 at our normal weekly meeting.  Raffle results are: -
