At 10.00am on Saturday 11/01/2020 George Deen the President of the Rotary Club of Archerfield arrived with another semitrailer tanker containing 24,000lt of potable water and was welcomed by Fran Hodgson the President of Stanthorpe Rotary and Past District Governor Jitendra Prasad.

As advertised this raffle was drawn today and the results were: -

  • First Prize - Gary Drew  -  Ticket # 1145
  • Second Prize - Selina Kadell  -  Ticket # 104
  • Third Prize - Jim Noble  -  Ticket # 1252

Congratulations to the winners and thank you to all our supporters.   Proceeds of this raffle will go to the Rotary District 9630 Drought Appeal.

Accepts donations of hospital and school goods for use by  Rotary Australia World Community Service - Donations in Kind (Northern Region) who ship containers regularly to Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands

Members facilitate Citizenship Ceremonies for new Australians each year

The Club's major fundraiser is a Charity Dinner at Gambaro's Restaurant in May annually in aid of International and Domestic Charities.

A current project is supplying domestic water to Stanthorpe and drought-affected communities in South East Queensland. The water tanker is driven by President George to the affected areas 3 / 4 times a week.
